    Werewolf-The Series

I remember watching the first few episodes when it premiered on FOX (in fact it was one of the first FOX series if I recall, along with Married With Children, Tracey Ullman Show) but I never stuck with it.

Sounds like another cool show that never made it to Belgium

I never missed although it was a touch formulaic, like a horror version of the Hulk really. Chuck Conners character's name was the same as the vampire from the first Kolchak book which is something that made me appreciate the show a little more.

Man, Fox was really in it's infancy then...

I used to love this show; I watched it every Monday night at 7 PM with a big bowl of WOLF Brand Chili for my dinner.

              Man, I miss the 80s.

looking back that series signified the end of a great local TV station we had here in the Chicagoland area,WFLD which was taken over by Fox.

At the time I remember being excited about werewolf, but after watching a few episode I found it to be incredibly underwhelming. The only thing I remember is great werewolf make-up, but the mouths never moved.

Same here, we lost Buffalo29 (which played most of the movies, cartoons and tv shows that warped me) to Fox, channel 31 (a mecca) became a WB and Channel 49 became Christian. sigh.

I thought the show was awesome and its Werewolf designs are still my favorite to this day. I also really liked that the Werewolf was the good guy. Great show.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I barely remember the series, since I was in college and rarely watched primetime tv back then. I do remember the bus stop advertising in NYC, which had holographic images of the werewolf. "They only come out at night" was what you saw during the day, and then the 3D werewolf would appear when they turned on the lights behind the signs in the evening.

I also found a pretty good fan site dedicated to the show...
