Passing this along to the other technerds here.

Besides the issue of holding the Iphone 4 in any normal usable way causing the phone's signal strength to go down (and making Iphone users pay $30 for a rubber band to compensate for the design flaw) every Iphone model since the beginning has incorrectly shown it's actual signal strength.

I have not been able to duplicate that problem with my new iPhone. I can hold my fingers anywhere on the phone, including over the areas where the ant. is located and the signal only drops a bar at most and my calls are still much clearer then my old one.

What's funny though is Apple recently put out ads seeking four positions for experienced engineers to "define and implement antenna system architecture to optimise the radiation performance for wireless portable devices". LOL.
Way to go!!
