Who would you cast as Vampirella?

For a contemporary movie version today?

I don't think many of the Vampirella models have looked as good as Barbara Leigh who was supposed to star in a seventies film version. This was the one that I really wish they had made.

Carmen Electra, Megan Fox, (she'll never do it tho), Christina Ricci-if she were taller and more mature-looking, Rachel McAdams-but she doesn't really have the body. Marina Sirtis would have been great but she's the wrong age now.

Maybe Rachel Bilson, Mila Kunis, or Cameron Diaz; they have the faces for the role. Especially the eyes.

Talisa Soto was actually not a bad casting choice in the movie that was released. Too bad Roger Daltry was in it and there were soooo many other problems.

Depends. If they push it as a horror flick, where Vampirella is a monster hunter like Van Helsing was, it could have some legs. Give it a hard R rating, too (hey, Vampi had some adult scenes and situations in her Warren Publishing run, so...).

I'd insist on a comic accurate costume, though. To phooey with the altered outfit Talisa Soto wears, just invest in lots and lots of spirit gum or double-sided tape!
