Oh man that's a defo add to my collection.......I miss the Horror hosts Late night Tv is soooo Boring without this kind of entertainment. You would think the SciFi channel would totally exploit this now....There is always an audience out there who wants this kind of stuff. -

Looks like a winner. I really miss the days of TV hosts, w/ scary flicks and cartoons."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

I'm envious of anyone who grew up with this, kids in my neighbourhood had Buffalo feeds with no horror host, lucky kids to the west of me got the Ghoul via Detroit.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Central Indiana had "Sammy Terry". I just saw him at the HorrorHound Convention in Indianapolis about 3 weeks ago. He had tons of people lined up for pictures and autographs. I have to admite it was cool to see him in person and in make-up.
I too miss the days of old....I miss getting to watch Shock Theater on Sundays when I was a kid growing up in South Carolina.

WOOOO!!!!! Ghoul Power RULES!!!!! Seeing him when I was a kid is probably the high point of my life.
We used to have TONS of 'em here in the late 70's early 80's.... but I haven't seen anything like it for a while. Scream was kinda fronting some hosts; but I think they've stopped lately.

I'd love to get this movie as soon as it's available on DVD. My town never had horror hosts. But in the 1980's anyone remember WTBS using Al Lewis in his Grandpa Munster persona (without ever actually calling him Grandpa Munster for obvious reasons) as a host for horror and sci-fi movies on Saturday Afternoon?
These days, there is something approaching a horror host on cable access here. Chiller Theater runs here most of the time at Saturday(actually Sunday) on midnight. Trouble is, there is a lot of repeats and they only use public domain movies. Also, the hosts are two guys in masks that try but end up having little personalty.Last edited by mego73; Dec 9, '07, 11:06 PM.Comment

Good looking out Palitoy
I grew up watching Elvira Ahh, the good ole days.
Earlier this year, I was catching a few episodes of Macabre Theatre with Ivonna Cadaver but that seems to have disappeared. Every now and then, I'll catch an episode of Horror Kung Fu theatre with Nightshadow but it can be really hard to follow.Comment
