Its our Sunday around the block car, about once a year I'll drive it to work.Truthfully it spends more time getting washed and polished with shimmy chrome in the driveway. Its only got a 318 but still all original. The spare tire is still the factory spare never taken out of the trunk. Its got a bench seat not the buckets but with the fold down armrest in the center it gives it the look of it.It turned 24000 miles last year, not bad for a car I've had for 20 years huh.

Wow...that's really low miles right there...
I drive my Stang about once a week during the Summers...but a lot less frequently during the Winters...and NEVER when it rains.
Sweet ride, dude...

The Pontiac Solstice was rumored to be a new generation of the Fiero.
Having owned 24 various Fieros over the years I was looking forward to the Solstice.
I like the look overall but parts of it I wish could have been different. I like parts of the Solstice and parts of the Saturn Sky which are basically the same car.

Yes.
The rims are American Racing Torque Thrust Ds...the same ones from Steve McQueen's green fastback in the movie Bullitt.
I'm leaning towards the pewter with black stripes at this moment...but don't discount the red with white stripes just yet...

No...it's mostly all new stuff.
When I first bought my car about five years ago...it looked like this:
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4025/4677090274_7b95b9cf4d.jpg
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4013/4677090268_8f060daf9d.jpg

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4070/4677090284_8b01b9bd07.jpg
Now it looks like this:
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3034/2893066901_7675e98d04.jpg
http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4016/4375111948_8e50614193.jpg
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2773/4375110744_b3840e30a1.jpg
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2738/4374359751_d8b8480306.jpg
I have since sold the woodgrain steering wheel...it looked better than the black one I replaced it with...but I was just never comfortable with its grip.
The car was neglected by its previous owners...but it's a California car...meaning...it came pretty much rust free...my buddies and I inspected the entire car's metal integrity before buying...we went under the carpets, trunk compartment...and most importantly...the floor panels.
The only place where there's a little bit of rust is inside the cowl area...all early Mustangs had/have this problem...Ford didn't protect the bare metal inside. But I have a cowl cover (use it when washing the car)...and I never ride in the rain. But even it water gets in there...there's no more leak...a friend of mine managed to seal the leak..but he still recommend not having water go through there.
Now...I'm not a pro like Zemo (and I had help as well)...it was not sand blasted, nor the engine taken out for engine compartment painting...but I think the change was pretty decent...my favorite part is the overlooked undercarriage...pretty clean with lots of new goodies under there...I mean...considering that the car is 46 year old...lol...

That type of condition makes it a very desirable car for the barret jackson crowd. if you know the provenance and have verifed title history that even makes it more valuable nice car bud
