Last day of school!!

Today is the last day of school for our kids. Remember how exciting that day was? Well I experience it every year when the kids finally roll out a 3:30.

loved the last day, all teachers let you slack and watch movies, and in HS it would be national skip day :grin:

I remember in grade school, it was a half day, and since the classrooms had already been cleared out, it was basically a day where you could say goodbye and bring a favorite toy to school. It was cool to see what kids would bring.

Since I don't work w/ the older kids anymore, I don't get to see the thrill of the last day when I pick them up from school. I work w/ the pre-schoolers now, and we're open all year.

Well I work a second job so I don't really have one. I will take some time off though.

Our last day of school is June 30th, up here in Edmonton. Classes end mid-June but then we have exams for the remainder. It's crunch time for us right now...

Schools around these parts have to make up a lot of snow days every year.

It's why most northern states have a slightly longer school year.

June 3 is the last day of school here. Really excited as I get to spend time with all the rugrats this year. Im down and out with a knee surgery with about a month of recovery time to go. Cant go anywhere but fun to have them home and enjoy some time with them. First time Ive been home like this since I was 18 and working.

I remember on our last day of school everyone would bring water ballons. After school it was no holds barred lol. Good times. :beaming1:

I loved that feeling as a kid. Boy, the summer just seemed to stretch forever. Nowadays I blink and it is snowing and cold again ;)

Last day of school here was last Wednesday.
