Land of the Lost "Enik" Jiggler 1970s

Does anyone have any info on this jiggler? I assume it was a knockoff. I've heard stories for years by people who swear they saw Sleestak jigglers on store shelves back in the 70s, but I figured those folks were mistaken. I guess not.

Super cool piece either way. I've heard of the legend of these as well, but never actually have seen one in person. I do remember seeing jigglers in the 70's where I grew up in NY at fairs, flea markets, etc, that I'm pretty sure were knock offs. I'm not 100% sure, and I'm sure there are people in here that know more than I do, but I believe Ben Cooper, who made most of the jigglers in that era, did not have the Land of the Lost license.

Sure a cool looking piece though.

Well that's a bummer, Sharry... I was kinda hoping the "Queen of Krofft" could shed a little light on this piece. If it somehow has eluded you, my dear, it must be super rare.

I truly love all things Krofft, but sadly, I never had any Krofft toys, lunchboxes or anything else as a kid. And I've really been working at collecting the shows themselves than the merchandise the shows produced. I've actually done a pretty good job! So if I don't know a Krofft goodie right off, don't be surprised!

well I guess this answered my question of why I was suprised no one ever made a sleestak figure back then. I guess they did, but that they were all knock offs. Thank you for letting me know that these things exist. Something else to look for and put me in further hock

I had one of these about 10 years ago. Picked him up at a flea market in a beer flat filled with other jiggler monster things. I sold him at a Toy Show in Allentown for 50 bucks to another dealer who bought him before the show opened. A major sale regret of mine as it is still the only one I have ever seen. He was marked Ben Cooper on the back as I remember but I don't recall if there was any copyright info. Didn't Ben Cooper make a Land of the Lost costume in the 70s? I think they did and that would suggest this jiggler was licensed as well.

Yeah, Ben Cooper had the costume license, so it's totally believable they'd make a jiggler. Awesome info thank you, I MUST have one.

I'd think if it was a Ben Cooper product, there would be more around and that you'd see one at least every now and then. I've got a decent BC jiggler collection, but like I said; I've never seen this piece. It certainly is beautiful. I'd love to have one.
