The figure in the blue sweater is Dave Seville from Ideal's Chimpunks line. He came with the On Tour Van playset.

Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Not sure of blondie's origin, but I am pretty sure he is not a Steve Scout. I pulled out my Steve Scouts to compare and nothing about the face mold, or color is even similar to the ones I have.

I compared with my Steve Scout and the head mold is a match. What's different is the hair color. It looks like it got a customized paint job. But everything on the head and body are a match (especially the hands). Steve Scout has very unique hand sculpts and mine is spot on with your pic.

I am pretty certain the blond is Bob Scout, Steve Scout's buddy. He was blond. They also had Dave Scout (African American) and a few younger "cub" figures, both Caucasian and African American.

Now that would make sense because the body type is definitely the same style as Steve Scout. Who would have thunk that Steve had friends.

I would love to see a pic of your Steve Scout. I wasn't aware of any variants on Steve and mine looks nothing like this one. Please share if at all possible.

No problem. I tried to position the figure as he is shown at the start of the thread. Note the hands, especially the right one where the thumb is positioned inward. That was put there so he would give the proper salute when you posed him accordingly. He did have a fellow partner named Bob Scout, but he was black. The figure in question looks like he got a custom paint job applied to the hair.

Thanks for posting your Steve Scout. Mine looks exactly like yours, but to me the blond one in question does not have the same face mold: eyes are bigger on blondie, mouth and nose have more of a babyish appearance as well, even the hair looks bigger.
Bear in mind that I do not have the trained eye so many folks on this board have, but I do agree that the body is the same.
I like the whole Bob Scout theory.

Yeah, that is Bob Scout. The younger friend of Steve. Bob was a cub scout, complete with the navy blue pants and shirt and yellow neckerchief. I think he even had the small baseball type hat.
