    Tarzan by Corgi

As readers of this blog might know, I have a real affection for 70s Tarzan merchandise, mostly because of the wonderful Filmation series that ran on CBS (which sadly, is not available on DVD). One of the best items out of that era has to be this wicked Corgi set which of course features jungle vehicles, animals, the Zan himself and a jungle backdrop. I wish I had an endless income and storage space sometimes....

Cool! I love that Filmation show too. And the set looks like fun!

I remember Woolco used to have a glass case display with all the corgi stuff in it, and I bet I stared at the Tarzan set until it had holes through it!! Back then I wanted everything corgi made.

I loved that show! We used to make fun of that infinite vine swinging animation loop; almost as "good" as Shia La Boeuf in that horrible Indy Jones movie.

I bought a lot of Corgi stuff when I was a kid, but I never saw the Tarzan items. Very cool.

Im a huge Tarzan the cartoon fan! I have never seen this before. I recently downloaded the entire series on a torrent. I would buy it if it ever came out on DVD. But Im glad I found a torrent of it.

That series cost me a aquaman/great white shark. True story. I got tarzan and an ape fig instead.
