So once again the might Paypal has put a "hold until received" on my account. Man that sucks. One of these days I'll stick to my guns and stay away from selling on ebay. AAAAUUUUUGGHHHHH!

going through the same thing once I get my check from them Im terminating my account paypal is more trouble then its worth!

You don't get your money till the buyer received his goods? How does that work?

It gets held by paypal until guarenteed shipment just put tracking on the item and as soon as it says delevered just phone paypal and tell them release your money ... Josh

I get that, but why? They don't do this everytime, do they?

I think it's based on what you are selling (items at a higher risk for possible fraud are more likely to get the funds put on hold). Luckily old toys and DVDs don't fall in that catagory so I've never had this happen to me.

DVD's do if they reach a certain price, that's the only thing my brother sells

That's all I've sold. I think my "non ebay" transactions are what did it.

I refuse to sell on that site anymore....and then have some entity keep my dough....we're not freaking Walmart. If we list something to sell it, it sells, we get paid, we ship...we spend the money...we sell generally because we NEED the money.
who the hell can sit on the money "hoping" the buyer will be satisfied with it..."hoping" the buyer doesn't have a change of heart and complain to big brother..."hoping" you don't wake up some day and discover big brother is holding your money until you prove you shipped it...
just makes a guy wanna jump on their site and start selling doesn't it...
I can't believe people still use it.

I was mainly a buyer but was getting ready to start selling of Ebay until they forced paypal. I have not dealt with Ebay in well over a year.
