Besides having a name that is instantly hilarious to young boys, Dinky also made diecast toys covered in all kinds of awesome. Take for example the Eagle One from Space:1999, this was diecast at it's most brilliant and it was happily just one of the many things they turned out from the Gerry Anderson Stable. One of these days....

I remember my older neighbors buying the Eagle one in a toy store (I think I got a rubber snake instead). I would have loved one then and still want one now

I have mine from my childhood on my desk. Many adventures were had with that toy. Also, for all of its inaccuracies, I had much fun with the Dinky Enterprise, too.

Yeah...but why did Dinky make the cockpit and the "legs" green? Always wondered about that.
