    My trip to Kool Stuff

I don't have many occasions to drop in on Kool Stuff as it's over on hour from my house and it's not open on Sunday but I thought I'd write about my recent family trip to spread the word about an awesome store.

Kool Stuff is a really fun vintage toystore in Hamilton, Ontario and it's the best vintage toy store in the province, I just wish it was closer to me. I've known Jeff the owner since his first store and he's one of the nicest guys in the vintage toy biz.

I took the kids there to spend some birthday/first communion money and it's pretty funny watching them try and process it all. I wish I had taken more photos but the store is like a labyrinth to get around with, I kept knocking stuff over, I'm much too large for the place. Here is a shot of Jeff's Aurora Kit display:

The kids made out like bandits and after spending a long time in the car, I had to go home with something, so I brought this baby home:

Their website is koolstuff.ca and if you're planning a trip to Niagara Falls Canada, they're only about 30 minutes east of that. I highly recommend that, plus you can also get Megomuseum trading cards there.

One of those Big Burger King dolls as I recall. That pic is just a tiny corner in a large store crammed with stuff.

You know, I've always been meaning to check that place out but never got around to it. It's less than an hour from my house and it looks like a cool store, so I really have no excuse not to visit. Thanks for the incentive, I'm gonna make plans to head up there on a Saturday.

I highly recommend it and the Freelton antique mall which is about 15 minutes east of Hamilton.

Now that would explain why the sailback and cat with the Amigo Jackson looked so familiar. You were shooting down over your new display.

Yeah, that's my stuff. Jeff does have a really nice Planet of the Apes display going on in the store including tons of Mego stuff but I forgot to photograph it.
