Isn't it funny how some superheroes have to recite a word, line or verse to change into their super human form and others don't? Here are a few that do:
Captain Marvel
Isis
Web Woman
He-Man
Can you think of any others?

Not sure about Web Woman but all of the other ones are magic-based, so that probably has something to do with it...
How about Miracleman? ("Kimota")
And then there's always "Wonder Twin powers....activate!"

Well Heman won't work unless he has the sword
and How about Mumm-Ra ? "Ancient Spirits of Evil, transform this decayed form to Mumm-Ra, the ever-living!"

Then there's always Johnny Quick who gets his super-speed from reciting the mathematical equation "3X2(9YZ)4A"...

In addition to Captain Marvel, you should include Mary, Capt Marvel Jr and Black Adam. I think Jessie Quick used to use the same equation as her dad Johnny to use her speed powers. And there was Apache Chief on Superfriends. He said, "Inyuk-chuk."

I never saw that show. The only reason I know He-Man is 'cos my kid brother watched it. I'm not an 80s baby.

Well, I could say the same thing about you and 70s shows, but that's a discussion for another thread.:wink_y:
BTW...I have seen most of those shows at least once, b/c like I said, I have a kid brother who watched that stuff. I really didn't care for them.
