Does anyone have the KO Star Fortress (Pics here).

Back when Star Wars was all the rage, I remember Sears sold a KO playset that folded up, called a Star Fortress, Now YEP, You guessed it, I want to make a repro if it, I bought mold compound to make the casts/molds for the gun, and I'm bidding like a madman on ebay (I hate that place, I never win) so do any of you have this or the Starbird base?????

    Scans needed, anyone have one????

For starbird if anyone can help with scans

although I cannot help you, I want to thank you very much! I used to have the Star fortress set. I have very faint memories of playing with a "generic star wars playset" and I was pretty sure it came from some catalog. For a number of years I would still wonder what it was called. So thank you for posting the pics and now letting me relive my memory!!!

update: here you go, buy it now for 29.99 on ebay

SEARS was famous for this stuff. I have a playset that when built is a mission control station for a Super Joe figure and when you reverse it, it becomes a recording studio for Barbie dolls. Pretty cool set up.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I had one of these pretty early on in my Star Wars days. They must have been out in 78/79. The case didn't hang around long, but I had the plastic cannon long after. It was better than anything Kenner made. I think my Hoth Stormtroopers used it when they attacked the Rebel Base.

Did Sears make this playset? It really reminds me of the Hulk Hide-Away playset that I think was made by Tara Toys.

Mine is in the box and stored away (probably because I was excited when I saw and paid WAY too much for it ), but here is a cataolg shot from the Museum. This reminded of the Star Fortress because this foldes up into a payamid-esque shape and all is parts are folded cardboard.-
