Aaarg! great comics in lousy condition.

A young friend dropped off some comics at my gf's store today, said they were his mom's and they were cleaning out the basement. I didn't get too excited figuring they were Archie's etc.
Insted there was a stack of 60's superhero and westerns sitting there waiting for me, problem is they are in horrible, distgusting condition.
    Fantastic Four-32, 55, 56, 74
    Amazing spidey- 16, 49, 51, 57,62
    Daredevil- 13
    Avengers-31
    etc, etc.
Any ideas on what to do with them? I doubt they're worth a crap in this condition.

Edit: sorry I realize there's a comic forum, just used to posting in general buzzz!

Could you elaborate on the shape they're? I envision a smelly, soggy, moldy pile - no - A MASS, in four colors that might chase Steve McQueen around at night by this description.

The only thing that is a deal breaker for me is smell. I'll gladly own a well-loved comic unless it has the mold/mildew stench. I passed up several neat silver age issues a couple of months ago because they were overpowering with the musty smell.

I have the first appearance of Aqualad, and it looks as if it had been read underwater.

I only paid $3 for it though. And hey, I have the first appearance of Aqualad!
Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures

Oder is bad news - I would try to deodorize them by sealing them in a container of some kind with baking soda to absorb the scent.
