Big Ben suspended from Steelers 4 to 6 weeks

So do you think the ruling was too light, too harsh, or just right? Myself, I think it sends an important message that if you play, you pay in the NFL. Perhaps he'll figure it out this time. Here's the story...

I would have liked to see a tougher penalty. I've liked Ben but he needs to see the light and calm his a** down or the next incident may not turn out well.

Rumors out now are the Steelers are shopping him prior to the draft. A report backs it up by saying the Rams officially declined wanting to trade their top pick for him so it appears they must have asked. They also picked up Byron Leftwich the other day in a trade. Ben may have worn out his welcome in PA. They're also saying the Steelers could be fined because they have two players suspended at the same time, Santonio Holmes being the other one, even though he was traded to NY he was Steeler property when the suspension was imposed.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

Hard to say, since there were no criminal charges, I would say it's about right. Ben's gotta drinking problem and he needs to get that under control. Of course I'm only going on the fact that he was not charged.

He deserved what he got. A flat out six game suspension would have been better. He's proven himself to be a meathead. Too bad his character is so far below his talent level. Sure, there were no charges officially filed, but from all accounts the investigation was a cluster F from the beginning when the lone interviewing officer later posed with him for pictures and got autographs. He later resigned his position.

We'll likely never know exactly what happened that night, but from his posture, body language and speech pattern during his brief press conference, he sure looked like a dirtbag who dodged a bullet.

Hopefully the suspension hits home with him and he admits to and fixes his problems. He at least deserves the chance to do that. HOwever, given his arrogance, he probably is in denial and will mess up his chance at redemption.

              Rapist? Probably not.

              ******bag? Little doubt.

I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Looks like the Steelers might unload him.

I hope my Raiders get him!

We could sure use a QB...especially a great one...

                          How about an orange jumpsuit?

It's a new game of Dump the ******. If the Steelers actually trade him away, I'll become a Pittsburg fan. The Rooney's don't mess around. I don't think there will be any takers, but the simple fact they are shopping him makes me smile.

I have a feeling this story will continue for long while.
