Forgive me if I keep saying this...BUT...

There's this section of the museum called Accessory Check that has pics of all the parts of figures so you can see what they look like close up and compare them to reproductions if there are any.

Click the belt pic and it gets big.

The Mugato belt looks like Robin or Robin Hood's belt in a different color? Is this the case?

I think the sticker on his belt is just a white paper square, and the "vertical gradiated blue line in the center" is where dye from the belt has leached into the paper.

Yeah Chris, it's the same belt just in black.

Interesting theory about the gradiation. I've never seen one without it, but then again, you never see one without black on the shirt under the belt either. If this is the case, then I wonder why it always starts at the center? The ones I have seen all appear similar is size, not like some have it worse than others. Hmmm..

The belt in the center of the buckle curves outward in a semi-cylindrical shape. The sticker makes good contact where the discolouration is, but often doesn't touch the belt on either side of the center. One clue that Theressa mentioned is that the engraved designs on the belt are visible as faint lines on the sticker.

Just recently I obtained a tunic for my Andorian. He has no belt so to tide him over and hide the black stain a little I put a white vinyl belt from the AJ air force set on him. The brown from the tunic has already leached into the belt at the raised points of contact with the tunic. The above quote seems perfectly feasable after my experience with the Andorian. I`m just surprised how quickly this has happened - 3 months at the most.
