70s purple people eater ?

Anyone have this freaky toy in the 70s purple people eater I had it a big rubber monster with cute little people that you put in and out of its mouth to the sounds of a funny sound like a buzzing and the eyes flashed in and out lol
now this "game" was interesting for about 5 minutes lol anyone have one or remember it? was it only a UK item ?

Thanks for the pictures I had one of them as a kid you got lots of little cute men with it and the rubber monster had a skeletal frame you put the monster cover onto and then it worked made funny sounds I would kill for a boxed one now I always look on ebay how do you remember it?

I had been after the PPE since the 80's I guess. I discovered it while collecting Cyborgs, Britain space mutants, Action man, etc. I was a huge modelmart user. Any toyshop phone # with 011 44 that I became aware of, quickly went into my rolodex. Thank God those phone bills are a thing of the past.
The $$$ we used to spend on info back in the pre internet 1980's was just insane.
I was into all things UK from Skeletron & his skull ship, to Too Kool for Skool toys.
