Just read that coke leads in the cola wars by quite a bit.Are you a coke or pepsi drinker.Because of the caffine I'm neither, I'm forced to watch the battle from the stands,occasionly with an A&W Root Beer.

No Brainer...Coca Cola. Can't even sip pepsi these days without getting sick. Long Island was the home of Pepsi here in New York. Drank it as a kid...but Coca Cola is so much better. I drink more seltzer and ginger ale these days...but if there's a choice...Coke is it.

My family is seriously into Coke. Have had relatives who've worked for the company and had basements full of Coke memorabilia. So they consider me an apostate 'cause I prefer Pepsi! :cool_y: I guess collecting's in the DNA - but Coke isn't...

I collect coke stuff and have a 1960's coke machine. I drink Diet coke (was up to almost 2000 calories a day so switched).

Coke. Mountain Dew was the one thing I drank from Pepsi. Not a real big soda drinker but Diet Coke is what I drink when I do.

Yeah there's some cool stuff out there. Coke always had cool merchandise. And nice, shapely bottles.

Which reminds me, I do drink Mexican Coke on occasion. Comes in bottles and is made with real sugar instead of corn syrup.

Since this thread has nothing to do with beer...the question is Coke vs Pepsi...

Without a doubt...I'm a Coke man all the way.

The one I buy all the time Is Coke Cherry Zero...that's the one I drink the most.

I do love Mexican Coke, like Sandman...but I try to slow down on that stuff...but man...sugar cane is the bomb... :grin:

Having said that...Pepsi did sponsor those cool 7/11 Pepsi posters with all those DC superheroes back in the 70s...and thanks to Russ...I'm lucky to own a Superman one...it's really awesome (the glasses too).

Coca Cola, all the way and now it's pretty much only Mexican Coke (I'm luck that my grocery store carries it)

Only one 12 once bottle a day though (and sometimes I skip a day).

That's a long way away from how it used to be, I used to take down a 2 liter in a day or a day in a half.

Mostly I drink water. Soft drink wise I usually stick to soda water or ginger ale. It's more refreshing to me and better with alcohol.

Coke/Pepsi Same thing to me - once in a while I drink them, don't which it is though - I drink a Brio every once in a while too. It's an italian cola made with tonic instead of seltzer water. Great with a veal sandwich!

I can't stand any diet drinks - to me it doesn't taste sweet and the after taste is really gross.

Daft thing is, if the two are side by side in a shop I usually buy the Pepsi, but I actually prefer the Coke. I see Coke as a such a dominant brand that I feel compelled to avoid it.

I grew up with Pepsi but now live in Coca Cola country. (Plus my father in law has a ton of Coke stock.)

I buy which ever one is on sale when I go shopping! Try to not spend over $3 on a 12 pack.

I really like RC and a Moonpie the best.

A&W is my favorite Rootbeer.

Picked up some Cheerwine this morning!

Where do you guys get Mexican Coke! I did try Pepsi throwback a few times and it DID taste better the regular Pepsi as it had real sugar, but still not as good as Coke. I would love to try Coke with real sugar.

I have found some in the ethnic food aisle of Kroger. Rather expensive but did treat myself to one.

You guys raise a valid point. For a while I just thought these tasted better because it was in a glass bottle - I didn't know about the sugar thing.

ill drink coke, pepsi, dr pepper, i used to like the ones they did with a splash of fruit but they dont do them either now :(

I'm surrounded by little Mexico here in Oakland, Ca...and whole boatloads of Mexican markets...and they all sell Mexican Coke bottles for a about $1.25 each...
