Is Tiny Titans a real project? I thought it was just something they used for a recent issue of Teen Titans. While reminiscing about Bart, they mentioned that it was his favorite TV show.

They should have been doing this stuff for the past 20 years.

I'm glad they're doing this, but I wonder if some of it looks a little too young? My son would read this, but he's on the verge of being over cutesy stuff.

Teen Titans Go and Power Pack are books that he's drawn to.

Some new art and an interview about the new Shazam book:

Okay, this looks freakin' awesome. Who wants an animated series just like this?

I'm pretty stoked about this, I love the design and making Black Adam a composite of Billy? That's a cool idea.

I'm so sick of Black Adam I can't see straight, but this looks like a nice reinterpreation of him. Looks like Syd from Toy Story with access to super powers.

Where's Freddy though? Junior gets no love.

Does this spin-out of Jeff Smith's mini-series? I lost interest with that book but this new one looks like it might do the trick. Even though this isn't in continuity with the main DC Universe I still prefer it over what IS currently in continuity...mainly the Travesty...er, Trials of Shazam.

I really like the idea of de-aging Black Adam so Theo's roughly the same age as Billy. I'm definitely going to have to give this one a look at the shop. Same for Tiny Titans.

Per Kunkel in the Newsarama article:
"And actually there is some connection to what Jeff Smith did with his fun Monster Society mini-series. Not only the original origin and now Mary Batson/Marvel is Billy’s younger sister, but also the fact that Captain Marvel defeated the Mr. Mind creatures by punching them so hard that it tore a rift in the fabric of our reality. Well, sure it sent the monsters away, but the thought is, did anything also escape when that magical rift happened? Pretty much we take off from there and begin to tell their stories."

So it sounds like it's loosely connected. You wouldn't have to have read MSE before this, but it wouldn't hurt. Good way to go, IMHO.
