    What Could Have Been...

It's no secret that Mattel broke my Heart with their Batman...but I'm over it now. And I'm confident that I can get somebody to make me a Neal Adams Batman Head...to make my own Custom with.

But I'm still hoping that they get Robin right.

The long ear cowl would not fit in the blister. For the same reason, we could
not make Black Manta with a removeable helmet.

Seems to me Mattel could have made a taller Blister. You did for your EMCE Andorian.

.... Not meant to be a Jerk ...
But a Blister Card Excuse seems pretty far out there , for something not being Bad Arse.
Even More so with how Cheap them cards seem to be made.

I like and don't like a few things about the Batman we saw at Toyfair. I liked that the cape was long but I didn't like how baggy the suit looked on him. It didn't appear to fit him tight at all. I really hope that got fixed. I hope the cowl looks nice we will see. I would like if the cowl had black shading on the mask (something the original Mego didn't have) I also hope it fits his head good and doesn't show skin neck area. The cape should hopefully cover that.

As for Robin I just hope he is shorter then Batman...and the cowlicks are gone from his hair.

^ I agree with BK...With all due respect I'm sure if the thought was there from the get-go in regards to a slightly larger blister to accomodate longer ears for Batman or a removable helmet for Black Manta, I don't see how that should have been a problem. If it meant moving more product with a Batman more people would pony up for or added play value with a removable helmet for Black Manta, then I would think the small cost of another half inch in height for a bubble should have been a no-brainer. Yeah Batman will sell on his own regardless of the height of his ears but I'm sure he would sell better because of them.

The Batman we saw was the prototype right? Is there a picture of the official production version yet?

Jeez. That's like making Chewbacca shorter because he needs to fit in a certain size box. Mattel makes strange choices.

Yeah, making a design decision that shouldn't be made, for a reason that should be more than easy to fix... that's depressingly lame. I mean... really??? Come on Mattel!

It's not an excuse - it's an explanation of what went on.

I'm sorry that you don't like the reason - in the future, I'll not
                              mention them.
