Is There a Mego Doctor in the House - Teen Flash is Hurt!!!

Got my first Teen Titan in and have a few questions. First, mine has yellow gloves and on the MM card, he has red gloves, normal? Mine also has a silver belt, is it even his?

Now, for the doctor. He needs to be re-rubberbanded. His legs and crotch are loose. His outfit could use cleaning and the male side of the snap is missing. His hair and ears could use a touch up, but not too worried about that.

Any one interested? How much or what do you want in trade?

Yellow gloves are Speedy's. Don't know if there any instances of a yellow gloved Kid Flash being found carded by mistake, but either way he should have red gloves. Dr. Mego sells a decent repro pair until you could find the real deal. The Belt....? No clue who that went to. Looks like it could be an Action JAckson accessory.

So, you are saying just get rid of the rubberband and restring him? I just looked at the tutorial, thats all I saw.

Hey,
The belt is from the AJ Rescue Squad outfit I think, so toss it to the side.
If the gloves are original, either put them up for trade on the Marketplace or sell them on Ebay and wait to see if you can get the original ones. The repros that Doc sells will hold you over until the real thing arrives.
Get a Teen Titan body/Lion Rock body and swap the rubber bands. If you don't want to do it yourself, drop me a PM and I can help.

Other than the yellow Speedy gloves and body problems, that's a nice Kid Flash.

You may be able to find a cheap Lion Rock 6" body for him, if you don't want to restring him. The Lion Rock WWII series uses the same body as the Titans.

Oh and I just PMed you about the gloves.

The belt must be from the AJ with the Kirk head in the fire fighting suit that Aeons just sold, thats where this Flash came from. Actually, the belt looks awesome on him, but I will get it to the person who bought the other fig. I guess I will restring him until I find the other fig you are talking about and steal the body or the rubberband.

I will let you know about the gloves.

Well, since I am getting a replacement body, I guess it is time to attempt my 1st restringing. Just got back from Wal-Mart, got the string, and the snap. Pictures to follow....

Ten minutes later, done. Pretty easy, but I have the wrong string. This is not elastic enough. This is silver colored nylon, because I didn't see the see real elastic stuff. What do I use to wash the outfit, WoolLite?

Look at what I did!!!

I used #15 o-rings and was able to fix the body. He is not completely tight, but alot tighter than before, I just need alittle smaller o-rings. So whats the secret to getting the head back on? :ugh_y:

Take a hairdryer and heat the neck plug of the head. If the neck plug ring is too large, you may have to use a blunt object to push it into the hole. DO NOT use a sharp object, while the head is soft the sharp object can poke right through it.
