I think the first three seasons are available on DVD. I was just looking at Season One the other day at Borders, it ran $39.99.

I love that show and yes, I am pretty sure that it was released on DVD just a few years ago. Of course, I could be wrong.

Huge Muppet fan. I just got a CD from the library. Kermit Unpigged. Made back in the early 90's I think. Has the crew singing with Ozzy Osborne, Jimmy Buffet, and others. Very cool. I love the new videos they have been doing on youtube also. The Rhapsody blew me away.

There are 3 seasons out on DVD. There were 5 seasons in all.
S4 would be fun (and interesting to see if there is a price bump) as that was the year they did the Star Wars episode. They also had Linda Carter and Chris Reeve in that season. I think it is supposed to be slated for release this year.

Man, I loved that show.

I got the time life dvd's off late night tv years ago. I think each dvd had 3 episodes and I think there are 20 dvds in the set. I paid way too much for them but I loved the Muppet Show as a kid.

Time Life had a 'best of' series running for awhile. There were 3 eps on each disc/tape. There were supposed to be 20 of these, but they had only gotten to 15 when Disney purchased the muppets and the TL contract was nixed.

Out of the 45 episodes on these releases, almost half were from the series 4 and 5 that have not come out on a DVD boxed set yet, so they are still pretty hot commodities.
