    Hagler-Hearns

Maybe the best first round in history.

I saw this when I reading that Hearns is having an auction to off monies owed.

    I remember watching this fight.

One of the best fights I have ever seen! Haglar was a bull. Hearns should have boxed and not brawled. I always loved watching both of these guys fight.

When the Dr. asked Haglar if he could see out of his bloody eye he replied "am I missing?". Best comeback of any fighter.

I agree! For sure best 1st round in history. My favorite fight of all time too! Hagler was awesome! I also loved his beat down of John " The Beast" Mugabi.

Hagler is one of the most underrated fighters of all time. He was a friggin warrior, but he's only remembered for his poor performance against Leonard.

I actually got to see this fight on CC at Harrah's Trump in Atlantic City. Was when I was still underage and sneaking into casinos. Guy was giving out tickets to casino patrons and we got some. Huge Hagler fan cuz he was from our area and was married to the aunt of a kid from my high school. I thought his performance against Leonard was still enough to win. I'm still convinced he took it easy because he felt it was in the bag after the first couple of rounds. Guess the judges saw it differently. I think the fix was in myself.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I also agree about being the best first round in history...the thing was better than any Rocky movie.

Marvin Hagler is my second all time favorite boxer.
