Took my daughter to see it in the IMAX 3D and was quite pleased. Love Depp in these odd ball rolls he always does and he was very good as usual. Special effects were good too. Not too scary and could be seen by most children with no ill effects. I would suggest catching it for a family night if you're looking for something to do.

Took my four year old last Saturday, I was expecting to hate it based on reviews and worried she'd have nightmares. The ticket machine warned me it was too scary for kids.
She loved the movie, didn't find it scary and I thought it was OK. I liked Depp and some of the casting (like Matt Lucas as Dee and Dum) was brilliant.

We decided to see it in 2D, it was originally shot that way and I'm not into 3D enough to deal with the glasses unless it's something like Avatar that was designed for 3D in the first place.
