New EMCE figures?
What does everyone think DOC should come out with next? I'm sure we could come with some really cool ideas for some new figure lines. I think Doc should come out with Star Trek the next Generation or Trek movie figures. Another cool line would be 007, like from Dr. No all the way to Daniel Craig, I think that one would sell very well. What do you guys think?

I think there's enough Trek material for Doc to make Star Trek figures for years, but Diamond is calling the shots with the Trek line. I agree that James Bond 007 would be a fantastic line which, in my opinion, has never been handled properly as a toy line. Closest anyone ever came to a decent 007 line was the 12" Sideshow stuff, but at $50 a piece it's hard to collect a line with 20 - 4- figures. -
I would rather have an 8" 007 than a 12" sideshow. With 8" there could be vehicles and all the Bonds, Bad guys, and Bond Girls. It would be way better than the 12" Moonraker Roger Moore that Mego made. 8 " 007 would be priced right too. Think about it Doc we would buy them.Comment

Would anyone else want to see figures from the Impact comics line? The Shield, The Fly, The Comet, The Web, Black Hood and The Jaguar? I think they'd fit this style well...
More pulp heroes would be cool too.... Doc Savage, The Shadow, Captain Midnight, Spy Smasher, Commando Cody. I'd buy'em for sure!Comment

On another forum, Newforce Rick stated that DST can't get enough orders from all of their accounts to justify production of any Star Trek figures at this point.
Whether he was including potential EMCE releases in this statement (or just referring to DST's regular Trek line), I don't know. But his overall point was the day of the Star Trek figure looks to be dead now.Comment

My suggestions
As a kid in the 70's I always wished Mego would make Speed Racer, Gilligans Island, Scooby Doo, Johnny Quest and Lost in Space figures. I would love to see EMCE try and do those!Comment

I had MASH figures as a kid particularly hot lips. I broke her the same day I got her. in escence: not fun. Never understood why there were no mego Hardy boys....
Bond would be an awesome line. Plenty of good characters, and Bonds. Odd Job, Knick Nack, Dr. NO...the works!Comment
