Got My stitched Lex Luther Today

Well I got My Lex Luther today with the stitched Chest Straps at TRU. I had to drive to the next State over(New Hampshire)to find him, as Maine only had the "non-stitched" version. There's was only one, and I was so excited to find him!

My excitement unfortunately was short lived. Looking at him in the Package on the ride Home...I noticed that on his Right Leg there were 5 runs in his Costume...and one on the left Leg. I was so bummed. It's disappointing that these brand new Figures come already damaged inside the Package. So basically...I paid $20.00 for a Head, Boots, and green Hands...because the Costume is already ruined. Plus his Body is so loosely strung...that he can't even stand. I'm speechless...it shouldn't be like this.

So I guess I'll be contacting Brian Leitner to make me a Lex Luther Costume...and Cast-A-Way for a Body that will actually STAND UP!

The "hard to come by part" isn't the real problem. it's 6 runs in the legs of the Costume, of a Figure that's still In THE PACKAGE! Look yours over...I hope they're in better condition than mine.

My Daughter went out of town today, hit TRU for me; found all the figs.
She nabbed me a stitched Lex. No problems on the suit that I can see, sorry D.

How come you don't return it ..., if it's still in the package ?
Both Villians seem to be a bit of Peg Warmers ..., I doubt it will be hard to get a new 1 in the Future.

Because it just seems more of a hassle to me at this point, than having Brian Leitner make me a Lex Costume. Besides...you can touch Brian's Costumes without them instantly getting "pulls" in them. Plus...I still like the Rotocast Head, Boots, & Hands.

What is the big deal? Stitched or not? Please tell me. I have both versions. So one is more valuable then the other? Enlighten me.

I think most of us think the stitched version looks better. I sure hope I can find one.

the EASIEST way to tell them apart is that the stitched version comes with a chunk of Kryptonite.

dunno if any unstitched ones do, but all the ones I've seen don't.

Both of my unstitched Luthors have Kryptonite.

                        well then, that answers that!

I think as these end up in more hands, we'll start to get a clearer view of just what variants are out there, as it is clear that there are quite a few different production styles.

The unstiched one is worth,... oh shall we say... a MILLION dollars!

The prototype was un-stitched if that means anything.
                              It's all good!
