info on space 1999 eagle figure

    Hiya folks,

Looking for some info on the 1976 Mattel space 1999 Eagle model and specifically the figures.

There were three figures included. About 3" high.

Looking to see if these are missing from the model/playset often and what they go for loose.

    thanks in advance
    rche

edit: btw - not my figures. I borrowed this pic from space1999.net. I do have the Russel figure, standing, without any accessories.

You can sometimes find them in lots and such, they don't go for a great amount although if you run into somebody that needs them, watch out. I think I may have two Barbara Bain figures, lucky me.

They are ALWAYS missing from 98% of all Eagles (loose ones)

I'm not sure about price, but I have seen them for sale for over $20.00 apiece.

The Eagle is a perfect example of something's parts individually totaling 3 times more than a complete Eagle value.

Watch out, huh? I will keep my eyes open should any 1999ers start chasing me around.

thanks for the info, B. Interestingly enough, it is the Dr. Russel figure that I just found.

Last month, I happened across the crouching Bergman figure listed on eBay in a lot of misc figures. I don't have the auction link anymore, unfortunately. I do see them surface occasionally - usually in unidentified lots of 70s and 80s action figures & "star wars" stuff.

You might try that route. The lot went for less than $10 with shipping.
