    LJN V Toys Catalog

"V" was an early 80s TV sensation, the brain child of Kenneth Johnson (responsible for the Six Million Dollar Man and the Incredible Hulk series) , V was a parable about facism wrapped in the amazing trappings of science fiction.
The original mini series were a ratings smash, so by the time a weekly series rolled around (Johnson bailed by this point) it made sense that toy makers were clamouring to get themselves some lizards. Sadly, the series was less than spectacular and LJN didn't roll out their entire V line for 1985. Below is a sad glimpse of what might have been.

After seeing the mini series for the first time on the Sci-Fi Channel (I was sick when it originally aired), I thought it would have been cool to have a V doll, like the kids in the film had.

"V" was a big event at our house. My whole family watched it. But I barely remember watching the series when it started. Wasn't there another mini-series before the ongoing started?

Shame they weren't produced. That shuttlecraft looks like fun.

I always remember the Enemy Visitor 12" figure always being sold at discount by many sci fi shops back in the 80's.

                They couldn't give them away

i woulde have killed for V action figures when the show was on. I absolutely loved it....although the weekly show was poorly done and I can sit through an entire episode now. that is one line I would definately pick up had it been made

the packaging art kind of blows, even for the era, but I woulda flipped over the 3 3/4 figures and vehicles!!

I've tried to snag the V dude a couple times but I don't want one bad enough to pay too much.
Plus right now there's probably added interest from the new show. I'm sure once the new show gets canceled the prices and demand will fall again.
