Just picked up an X-box 360 for the kids it came with halo odt or something like that and a racing car game.
Going to set it up tomorrow whats some of the better games for it?
we'll be grabbing a few games tomorrow.
We have ps2 and a Wii already so looking for a few games that are cool on the x-box 360.

Call of duty Modern warfare 2 is a great multiplayer game like toys2cool said and i still have fun playing gears of war 2, when you shoot someone in the face their heads pops and blood squirts out their neck no game has a kill satisfaction like it, call of duty plays way smoother, faster and better though

#1 MOST played Xbox live Game...Call of duty Modern warfare 2...is a MUST OWN!! It's not for the Kiddies though.:grin: Not only does it have THE BEST Multi-Player out there...but the two Man Co-Op "Special Ops" missions with a Friend is a BLAST!

2nd)Halo:O.D.S.T. Multi-Player, Great Campaign that can be played solo, or with four People. Plus...it has "Fire Fight" mode, where you fight endless waves of Covenant Alien Enemies!

Alright just got back from some shopping...
Games I wanted to get;Call of duty modern warfare sold out ordered should have in a week.
Batman arkam asylum sold out
Conan sold out( I will not rest until I hold this in my hands!!!)

So we picked up;
Drum roll please.......
Superman returns(my son went nuts when he saw this.)
Halo ODST (came with the X-box-Very cool to see and hear nathan fillion in that one.)
Army of two
Call of Juarez(for me I love westerns)
wwe smackdown vs raw
Kengi
star wars force unleashed he has already for wii he didn't want it again.
Lego games(All star wars,all indy's,batman) he has for ps2 and didn't want again.

I will let him play most games except for hardcore ones like gun,COD Modern war,any game where the human gore is over the top.A little blood okay but exploding heads not cool.

a little advise on call of juarez, i love westerns as well but the first call of juarez has this whip and its a pain in the arse to use its terrible to get it to hold onto things, if you can get the second call of juarez its much better and they took the whole whip thing out and it has a pretty good campaign.

Thanks for the heads up.I got it for $10 so I'll keep it.I will be looking for the second one also though thanks for letting me know there is another one.
Also my wife just came home with american idol for x-box....yeah... :smiley1:

I just don't really care for them 1st person shooter games much..., I like to see my characters, and with the new 1, the characters are far to small, and just not a fan of the graphics.

But crap man,.. I rarely even play anything, so what do I know.
I think the only Games I ever beat in the last 5 yrs was The Lego Games, and Guitar Hero.

I'm addicted to FPS...it's all I play. And as much as I LOVE Halo...COD:Modern Warfare 2, has the best online Multi-Player out there!

There is one fighting Game I LOVE though...it's D.O.A.. It's super smooth on the controls, and easy for a beginner to pick up. It also can be quite advanced as well...depending on who you're playing.:wink:

I am with BK on this one , I hate first person shooters , I like to see what I am controlling .......... Conan was good and it did get terrible reveiws ......... Also see if you can pick up Viking , It is another game that got bad reveiws but I think that it was an awesome game .............. Roy

Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a good time with the kiddies. My Son and Daughter and I have played the heck outta' that game.

Crackdown is fun and there's a second one coming out. It's kind of like if a police officer gained super powers type of game. Really very cool. If you like GTA type games Saints Row 1 and 2 can be had for pretty cheap and they are both really fun but definitely not for the younger kids. You can customize everything in them from cars to your character and all. The second one is definitely the better of the two. Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man Web of Shadows are a good time.

Superman Returns is a good time for awhile, it just gets repetitive...I don't mean to spoil anything for you, but eventually you can play as Bizarro in game and that is honestly more fun than being Superman because you can tear stuff up and throw cars around and just cause carnage...lol...

I have well over 100 games for this system, and there are tons of great titles, but some to avoid as well. Gamestop has TONS of games for $10 or less. avoid perfect dark zero though, but DO pick up Dragon age origins, the first BioShock, Star wars: The Force Unleashed. oh X blades used for 5 bucks is a steal too. If you like call of Juarez, try GUN, it's on the cheap and in my opinion a much better game.

Real Gem: GHOSTBUSTERS!!!!!

I can actually say I hate COD:modern warfare 1 and 2. Not really big on FPS games all together. Though I can freely admit both are well made games. If you are looking for a well rounded collection, this should be your fps.

YEP! this title should have gone gangbusters, but was released at a poor choice of times, with so many HUGE releases. Biggest diamond in the rough game in the bargain bin!

Just wondering if anyone else is a vintage game collector? Those sites are loaded with mostly moneyhungry ******bags, Community here is awesome, and would love to trade, buy and sell here.

Good to know,I was going to go wireless that kinda what I'm waiting for but no I'll just hard wire it for sure.

Don't worry about Team killing...you can't, the Bullets will pass right through your Team Mates(unless your playing "Hardcore" which I don't).
You'll find playing online COMPLETELY different than Campaign...there's some brutally good Players online(that's all they do:smiley1:)...but it's FUN & all good...it's just a Game.:wink_y:

Oh I definitely like to "run & Gun"(ACR for that)but I'm also a good Sniper. However, I never camp long....Campers don't get that many Kills.

Favorite Class'es:

ACR red Dot Scope w/Semtex, secondary dual G18 automatic Pistols
ACR Thermal Scope, Semtex, Tactical Insert, G18]s
M21 Sniper Rifle Thermal Scope, Tac Insert, G18's

man I've tried using the ACR and I can't for the life of me use it...you have to unload a whole clip to get one kill, I've started using the Famas and it's actually pretty good

That's because you need to use Stopping power and FMJ.:wink_y: Once you that...you'll notice a BIG difference!:yes:

and last but not least and currently my most favorite would be red dead redemtion with all the current dlc's
