i am glad sales are strong and the more publicity it gets the better for megos and the mego museum.

These figures seem to be getting a lot of press. If sales are strong for the first figures, I can only imagine what it will be for the next releases.

More proof people want Retro style toys and not poseable statues.

There are only a certain number of people who are really interested in these MEGO remakes.

Pre-Order sales are ok and nothing significant. Sales at the local retailer outlets have been slow with new customers only requesting the crewmembers.

Remember: DST recently canned both the BUFFY and ANGEL lines due to poor sales and pre-sales. All other lines DST produces can be affected by this action.

Are you referring to this quote: "Mego fans have made customized versions for years of characters like the Orions or even Khan. There are rumors that should the line endure it may include these types of characters."

Maybe it does mean Khan will be made some day, but I suspect that it more than likely means that if the line endures, it will expand beyond the MEGO releases and include lesser known characters, not specifically Khan or The Orions.

It is my understanding that DST is actually surprised by sales. They are now expanding into ape reproductions.
