    no longer available on TRU.com?

I just looked up the item number on TrU.com and noticed that the only WGSH in stock was Sinestro.

Green Lantern shows up as out of stock, and Supes and Lex are not in the system anymore.

I hope this means they are selling like hotcakes.

I'm guessing the initial shipment from China is sold out, but more are on the way

Oh, I don't think they are sold out and gone for good. I am just hoping demand for them is more than expected.

That, and initial quantities were very low.

high or low, I am hoping that the turnover rate was impressive enough to show good demand for the product.

If the initial quantities were 10 cases and they sat around for three or four months, mattel might feel like changing plans with the line.

But, if they continue to jump off the shelves (virtual and brick/mortar) and get reorders from TrU, then it looks good for the mego-scale super hero community.

We got extras of Sinestros in our TRU. I was surprised to see them along with GL. Probably grab another GL to make a custom John Stewart.

Anyone know the turnaround time for restock at TRU?

For example. once a specific store is sold out, how are reorders handled/shippped?
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

automatic reorders after a certain quantity is reached.. but "restocK" depends on what's available at the Distribution hub, and also Mattel's ability to keep product delivered (which Mattel is very bad at).

                    Regards,

                    g.

As an additional note, I just received an email from a wholesaler I deal with about the brisk sales on the Retro Action figures.

Again, I hope this is a good sign and that Mattel will continue with these figures past this years planned waves.

That's a safe bet. The DC "Infinite" heroes are on clearance, and probably won't be reordered.. that's more than likely what she was refering to.

Always have the item number to give them, that removes the "I don't really care" factor on their end (most times).

I have talked with several TRU managers and was told the TRU warehouses have re-ordered more stock on the retro action line....the initial supply was low I'm told.
