    Look what I got!

    There is this little antique store that I have driven by for years but never went inside.
    I had to do some work near there and noticed that they were open so I figured I would run in real quick and take a look around.

    I found this behind some old junk and looked at the price tag ($15.00) Right away, I took it up to the counter and the nice lady said , "Lets make it $12"

    Anyway, I dont think it works but its neat that it still has the inserts!

    Any idea what it might be worth!?

        Whoa talking Dalek by Palitoy, the first vintage toy I ever bought through the mail. I'd say it's easily $200-250.

            I would say so ... I think those talk boxes are pretty easy to fix.

            The tape is still in there, it probably just needs to be tinkered with by someone who knows what to do.

              I paid like $30-40 for a loose non talker and felt I got a good deal.

                Great pick up for that money, that is truly amazing! I'd say it's worth around £75-£85 for the condition it's in. It may possibly be worth a bit more for the scarcer silver colour. There is one up on Ebay at the moment that doesn't talk, so keep an eye on that to see what it goes for;

                          Sweet and she gave you 20% off too. Gotta love it when a great deal gets better. Bet you could have gotten it for $10.
                          It's not a doll it's an action figure.

                            thanks everyone. I think it evens out as I have overpaid for a lot of items in my collection before now. I am not into this hobby to get rich by any means. I will simply try and pass this on to someone who will appreciate it as much as I appreciate apes........

                            Thanks for the help!
