Sentry brought up a very good point htat I don't think has been mentioned here. I know usually Chris has a group rate set up, but haven't heard anything. I know my room last year was around 65 dollars. I'm hoping it's close to that this year.

Digg, I so hope so, I would LOVE to go this year, and I usually get the room and the people who come with get the gas, so it would be awesome if the deal happens this year. Thanks Scott for the thread!

No, it's better to be spread out. I bring my boys and they do not need to be up until 4am. :wink_y: I don't want them to be anywhere near the Mego suite. I'm guessing it will be soon we can start booking.

Just called the Super 8 and there are 11 rooms left in our initial block reserved to be purchased at the discount rate. $60.30 plus tax so probably right around the $65 we paid last year.

For anyone interested.
I am still extremely uncertain if I can attend this year (don't worry, the MegoSuite is taken care of), but I still just made my reservations today. FYI - The rate is the same as the AAA rate, but its still about $10 cheaper a night than published regular rates. They have a very lenient cancellation policy, up to a day in advance with no cancellation fee, so book it if you want to be where the action is.

Hoping you can make it buddy. Won't be the same without ya.

What Chuck said Paul. Not the same without you.
I made my reservations too just now even though I'm still unemployed. Fingers crossed.

Ditto to you Scott. Hope you and the boys can make it. Won't be the same. I know it's been tough on the job front. Keep them fingers crossed.
