Getting ready to buy some repro pieces from the Doc Mego site, and figured I'd round out the order with an EMCE Cornelius. Do you Mego Heads like the new versions? I think they look pretty darn cool but have no way to see one in person before I buy.

Do you have any of the EMCE Trek figures? If you like them, you'll like the POTA. They're as close to the originals as the Treks are. Which means: Nearly identical if you're a causual observer, or slightly different if you a bit of a mego head, or COMPLETELY wrong if you're anal
I'm in the middle. I find them to be a very nice, very close approximation to the originals.Like M.A.S.K.?

Cool. They don't have to be exact replicas for me to dig 'em. I'd just like to have something on a card that doesn't cost $300.Comment

I bought them for my kids (they love the Apes cartoon) and I was pretty wowed with their quality.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

The thing with the Soldier/Police Gorillas is their outfits are the same (except the "ranking" officers on the TV series have the stripes on the front of their vests), so different outfits aren't necessary unless you meant that you'd like to see reissued Gorillas with the same type of variants as the original MEGOs...
I'd prefer to see new Gorilla head sculpts rather than variant outfits unless the outfits would be truly different like Aboro's from "The Tyrant" TV episode or a sleeved (or sleeveless) tunic with a hieroglyphic like Julius wore in PLANET... An outfit made in the same colors as the Soldier Ape would be welcomed for Chief Urko though and a General Ursus outfit would be excellent (but maybe too hard to mass produce due to it being so elaborate compared to the rest)... But being that it sounds like EMCE won't be making new APES figures anytime soon, these "wants" of mine are pointless anyway...Comment

What about a baby Caesar action figure with pull-string voicebox that repeats, "Mama, mama!" over and over...Give us Golden Age Mego!!! Hourman! Golden Age Green Lantern, Jay Garrick would absolutely rock!sigpicComment

And the line didnt sell well.
Ursus would be nice ( non helmeted ape. ) He isnt specific to any film realyy. Just a better sculpted and accessorized Soilder Ape. He could be issued as Soilder Ape Commander or something. Generic.Comment
