    Retro Action Reborn

This is a picture of my six year-old Hayden and my three year-old Amelia doing what they do at least once per day now, play Star Trek. With the release of the last Star Trek film Hayden has become really jazzed about the series, and his sister just likes to play with him.

This is the reason I love the Retro line from EMCE...

They look like a couple of '70's kids! Another generation of Trek fans! Cool! I wish I had playsets when I was a kid.

I'd much rather see a pic like this, than a wall full of "mint on card" figures. Thanks for posting this.

That's what brings back the good old days. On a shelf it's "I had that when I was young", seeing pics like this makes you say" I used to play like that".

Thanks for sharing time with my family. Hayden has seen the new Retro Heroes, in fact, I already bought him a set. When it showed up he couldn't stop jumping up and down. Most of the accessories have already been lost, but he is having a great time with them.

My thanks to Paul, EMCE, Mattel, and everyone else involved with bringing my childhood dreams back to life for my children to enjoy as well.

I'm currently trying to gt the broadcast rights to the cartoon to air on our station here on Saturday mornings... wouldn't it be great to reintroduce kids to the stuff we love so much in the same manor that helped grow our love? And the best part... those that do get into it can actually get the toys to play with and carry out their own adventures.

In a perfect world I might be able to pull this off. I'd like to core some other of the 70's and 80's Saturday morning flair but it's a greedy world these days. Wish me luck!
