Seriously, the new film needs to not have any connection with any other incarnation of the character and really doesn't need to be a big screen version ofthe soap opera Smallville. The Singer sequel to the Donner movie proved that without a doubt.

Unfortunately Joe...I actually agree with you.:ugh_y: As much as I'd like to see Welling in a big Screen version of Supes....I don't think Warner Brothers would go in that direction.

I liked Routh(he was a good 2nd choice to Tom:grin:)...but I hope they go with an unknown. It sure worked with Chris Reeve.:wink_y:

Yeah I still have a hard time with well knowns as characters that should be bigger tahn thier personality. Unless theyre as good an actor as that guy ( memory???) who played Dracula and Commish Gordon. NEVER reconize him.

Nicolson was Nicolson, Carrey, Swartznegger, Keaton, etc. Thats the problem with being an adult. I know these guys already. DeVito was good , he took the horror factor down just a notch with the humor but it was still Devito.

I always thought Kevin Conroy would have been a god Batman he's a big guy and has the voice

In a perfect world.......Peter Jackson or James (Avatar) Cameron would do Superman a great deal of justice on the big screen. Did'ja see the flying scenes in Avatar.......Wow!!!
