People have asked me how my son Eddie is doing since he had surgery to
repair the cleft palate and lip.

Granted it's a weird pic, but he looks great in that toilet pic. It almost broke my heart seeing him in that hospital pic. Little kids shouldn't have to go through stuff like this. But I'm glad to hear and see he's doing a lot better now

That's great. Is this surgery a "one and done" or will he have to go back. Either way that is awfully tough on a child. A Emce/Mattel superhero figure might help the recovery process.

One and done

He will need a second surgery on the hard palate - which is the actual
bone - but that should be around age 5.

He actually isn't using the toilet yet. He goes in the diaper, then runs
to the bathroom, but he's working on it.

That's great. Is this surgery a "one and done" or will he have to go back. Either way that is awfully tough on a child. A Emce/Mattel superhero figure might help the recovery process.
