I'm wondering who considers themselves to be an APES fan?
I am not talking about the folks who might say "Oh yeah, I used to like that as a kid", or "Sure, I seen the movies after school", etc. Also excluding the folks who say the highly over-quoted "Take your stinking paws of me you damn dirty ape" line, which basically "everyone" knows.
I am not thinking that owning all of the MEGO APES would make you one, as there are many who own "every" MEGO just to be completists. I also do not think that just because you hoard MEGOs that it makes you one either, as there are people in all areas of collecting that become "obsessed" for awhile, then lose interest after some time.
What I'm getting at is who here would consider themselves at, or near, the level of the die-hard TREK fans for example. (No, not the stereo-typed geek in the basement dressed as a Vulcan). People who are very hard-core, not obsessed though.
