Derek, Daremo and I were just talking about how your customs have been on a steady incline when it comes to quality. To me that is the true litmus test of a customizer, when his most recent custom is better than his last.

You, my friend, are approaching that summit with a full head of steam. keep up the great work!

Derek, I'm a big fan of your work. I absolutely love your Scooby collection, I've only mentioned that like a thousand times before. :grin:
One of my all time favorite customs you did (and which sadly isn't featured) is Copperhead. One day you'll have to make me one :wink_y:

If any of you had said to me 2 years ago, "you will be posting September 25, 2007 on a Mego message board about your 8" customs"...I would have looked at you like you were crazy.

It has been a wild ride this past year. I have learned from so many of you and grown so much from it.

Dave - thanks for being a great moderator- you truly are the glue that holds this section of the Museum together. Custom mego is what it is today primarily because of you.

Paul (Meryln1976) - thanks for being there in the beginning to help me and keep me motivated with my work. You are an endless source of mego "stuff" - if I needed it, you had it. You are a great right hand man to Dave and do so much behind the scenes.

Russ - thanks for letting me bounce ideas off of you - you are a master of custom-making and few people know it. Thanks for being such a good friend.

John (Type3Toys), Chris (CaptainMego), and Jason (BlackKnight)- In my opinion, your customs are amazing and the standard by which all higher end customs are judged - I just hope that someday my work is half as good as you three.

Austin - your stuff sparked my imagination in the beginning. When I saw your Spiderman villains for the first time, it's like a fire was ignited in my belly. You are truly the King of Mego-esque!

Anthony - without your amazing boxes my customs are only half-way done. You complete me! Seriously - appreciate all the help and info you've given me this past year. You are truly a walking comic book encyclopedia!!

I know sometimes my work was crap and you really wanted to criticize it, but out of kindness you didn't. Thanks for sparing my feelings.

I've made a ton of friends here and hope to make a ton more in the future. What a great place!!!!!
