Bleeding Cool Comic Book News and Rumors New DC Animated Series: Young Justice League (UPDATED) (http://www.bleedingcool.com/2010/02/02/new-dc-animated-series-young-justice-league/)
It’s Sorta THE Young Justice. They will be going out with this BIG TIME at Comic Con. From what I saw, it’s Martian Girl, Aqualad, Nightwing, Impulse, Arrowette, and Connor Kent. The poster gives me the tone that it’s a cross between JLU and TT. I liked the look a lot. It’s not quite Timm-style, but it’s not All Murikami’d out like Teen Titans.
The kids were the focus of the poster, in the center, but The JL was behind them.

Weird. Especially considering the Brave and Bold episode a few weeks back that established Nightwing and co as being out on their own.
And odd that it's coming so soon after TT wrapped. It's still in heavy rotation on Boomerang and CN!

I look at it this way. My daughter (who is 10) will have something to watch. It seems to be set for people of that age.
I came from the sad era of the anti violence "Super Friends" ho..hum...
The heroes spent about 4 minutes discussing what power or weapon they are going to use (before they did it) :)

I think She was Speedy 2 ..., in the Teen Titan's Books..., Suppost to be Olie's Niece,.. or something.

In the comics Arrowette is not the same as Mia, if that's what you meant. I don't remember the connection between Cissy and Green Arrow, if any. Her mother was an archer before her, and was apparently inspired by Ollie, and for some reason, I think she dated him once. There has been speculation whether or not Ollie is Cissy's biological father. Arrowette was a member of Young Justice, but I haven't seen her active in a while. She made a brief appearance at Cassy/Wondergirl's school close to the beginning of the reboot of Teen Titans.
Now the character shown in this thread, I don't know if she's the same version of Arrowette, or maybe some combination of her and Mia/Speedy2. I guess we'll find out.

^^^ Interesting Stuff !
I have never scene Arrowette before..., So I assumed it was Mia...
I read quite a Bit about Mia in the Titans...., She was in the New Ongoing Series..., shortly after the Reboot for a Bit..., But they wrote her character out, because she Had HIV or something ??? ... I thought it was Lame.., I liked Her..., She was mentioned here and there,.. inregaurds to tending to Roy's Baby Girl..., and I assume she probably pop's up in Green Arrow..., but I can't buy that book,.. the Art Work to me is Always just Horrible.

The Original Arrowette was kind of a Green Arrow groupie.
The new Arrowette debuted in Impulse's solo comic and was forced into the Superhero Biz by her mother (the original Arrowette) trying to relive her past glories vicariously through her daughter.
She joined Young Justice and eventually gave up her costumed identity while still remaining a supporting character in the book before disappearing when they became The Teen Titans, and Kevin Smith created the new Speedy around that time, Mia, who did join the TT.
There is a certain fanbase that believes Arrowette is yet another of Ollie's illegitimate kids, since Ollie (particularly in his Playboy days) would probably not be adverse to sleeping with a groupie. I think it's an interesting idea given the amount of kids Ollie does have running around, both biologically (Conner, Shado's kid) and adopted (Roy and Mia).

Anyone lamenting the lack of fun or lighthearted comics aimed at kids/tweens/teens should really have been supporting books like Impulse and Young Justice. I think it's a good thing that the new show will be based on YJ. I really enjoyed these titles.

my only fear about this is WB's track of narrowmindedness concerning the masses being able to accept multiple versions of characters. Hope Brave and the Bold doesn't get junked in favor of this ala JLU and Teen Titans during the "The Batman" cartoon's run.

Yeah, that was my thought too. WB put all their eggs in "The Batman" basket, and its all but forgotten now.
On the other hand, Legion of Super Heroes was a good show, and it's REALLY forgotten. It never did get any kind of real push.
I'm wondering if DC/WB didn't see all the various Marvel toons on TV and decided they needed to catch up.

Just last week my son said "I wish there was a new Justice League show" He loves Brave and the Bold but he likes "superfriends" type team shows. He's seen everything so I'm excited to be able to tell him this is coming out.

Oh yeah, I'm all for it. And more exposure for Nightwing is a good thing too. WB has yet to produce an unwatchable DC-related show. Sure, the first season or so of The Batman was mostly a misfire for us old farts, but at least it was well-executed.
As long as B&B keeps going, I say the more the merrier. I mean, Marvel currently has Spectacular Spider-Man, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Woverine and the X-Men, Super-Hero Squad, Black Panther, and the new Avengers toon currently in production. DC has one toon right now.

So was Abe Sapien Aqualad in his younger days?? Now I really hope this doesn't get in the way of B&B.

the design on speedy 2.arrowette looks aligns with what we are saw from the Timm team in the new films (GL and ww) so I suspect it's from someone who came from his team the real tell will be the animation does it go frantic (al Teen titans), more static (B & B) or fluid (JLU)
