Where is the Hall of Justice ?

Thanks to a recent cable upgrade, i'm now watching the Super Friends again every night on Boomerang.

I do have a question though .......

Where is the Hall of Justice ?

Gothem City ?
Metropolis ?
None of the above....... ?

I guess I always as a kid sorta thought it was in Washington, D.C.. That way the Super Friends would be in the capitol and would theoretically find out first if there was any danger, etc. *shrug*

Actually it's located in Cincinnati, OH. Unfortunately the Super Friends couldn't pay the rent anymore so the city turned it into a museum and Omnimax theater.

I thought it was said on there the Hall is in Metropolis. I could be wrong though.

you are right, it is in Metropolis, pre-crisis..now it's in Jersey..exit 52 downtown Camden.

It is indeed in Cincinnati. I'm only about an hour from Cincy. When I was in second grade, our class took a field trip to the Cincinnati Zoo. My mother went as a chaperone, and on the bus trip up, she told me to look over to my left and I'd see something really neat. Then there it was...THE HALL OF JUSTICE!!! I blurted that out loud, and all the kids came over to my side of the bus. I swear we almost tipped it over.

flash foward 10 years, and I'm in that building, taking in the museum. They happened to have an exhibit on local toy company Kenner, and there behind glass was the Super Powers HOJ. Kind of surreal.

But to answer the question; On the SF TV series, it was said to be in Metropolis. The SF comic placed it in Gotham.

God damn. I thought it was in Janesville, Wisconsin. Or at least that is what we used to say when we were kids when we played Super Friends. I always got stuck being Aquaman because I had blond hair. What a rip off! LOL

For some reason I always pictured it in Gotham as well...probably because of the comic as mentioned...

As the Super Friends expert, I can tell you where the Hall of Justice is.

Originally, in the 1973 series with Wendy and Marvin, as well as the 47 issue SuperFriends Comic Book series, the Hall of Justice was located in Gotham City, but starting with the All New SuperFriends Hour in 1977 all the way to the Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians of 1985, the location of the Hall of Justice was revealed to be in Metropolis, which in my humble opinion was the best location. If you want proof, In Case of the Shrinking SuperFriends on the new DVD release, SuperFriends: The Legendary Super Powers Show,
Lex Luthor is on his way to shrink the Hall of Justice and he says, "Next stop, Metropolis!" Plus, most of the distress calls to the Hall of Justice came from Metropolis in most of the series.
