I was just curious if anyone else was a fan. Its probably my favorite show despite only getting one season and a movie...

If you haven't seen it and you like humorous sci-fi with a slight western (cowboy) spin. Give it look. I'm sure Youtube has tons of samples. Watch the show first then watch the Movie Serenity after.

When I get my skills up I'd like to make Mego's of the crew of Serenity. Maybe even a Serenity ship playset for them to live on.

Aw yeah! Big Firefly/Serenity fan here! We certainly need more action figures from this property! Didn't even get a River figure with the ones that were put out a couple of years back.

great show. I actually discovered it through the movie. I remembered the show being on and fans in an uproar when it was canceled but I never watched it. then the movie came on HBO or something and I liked it so much i went out and bought the movie and the complete series. wish they would do another movie.

did you catch the Captain Mal bit on Nathan Fillions new show? He dressed up as Mal for Halloween. Great scene...his daughter says didn't you wear that like 5 years ago? he says yeah, but I really liked it

AHHH! I didn't see that! That sounds awesome! I haven't really been around to catch the show when its on.

I've been following Adam Baldwin on Chuck. I love that show too.

Love Firefly/Serenity. Just finished watching the Dollhouse finale. Part of me really wished that the entire show was set in that future time-line. The actors who play Wash and River have roles in Dollhouse and they are great, as are most of the cast. Too bad the storylines weren't as strong until they started wrapping things up.

Jaynestown is awesome. I love the reactions to that statue.

I made my girlfriend watch them with me in the summer. She says I'm like Wash. (She hasn't seen the movie yet)

Landlord and a few others reccommended it for me. I watched teh series on Netfilx then the Movie. I really liked Summer Glau so I went on to watch Sarah Conner chronicles too.

I thought the mechanic girl was really sweet. I liked the Preacher and how they wrapped him up in the film. I also thought th eseries end was kinda cool. Glad they had a movie though.

It was a nice show I really enjoyed watching.

SOng got on my berves though, not as much as the Enterprise theme:silly:

I liked it. friends recommended it 6o me but i had to buy the dvds to actually watch it. i loaded them to a guy who was loaning me things and when he quit his job where we traded things he never returned my set and i had given back all his stuff. so now i need to buy the set again! i would love to see some customs from this show.

I loved Firefly. I have the movie and the entire series on DVD. The biggest mistake was that it was broadcast on Fox.

Yeah, a pox on those Fox SOBs. They ran the series out of order and didn't even air the last few eps.

It was such a great show, and it boggles the mind how much promise it had. I finally picked up the box set from bestbuy.com when they were selling it for 80% off at Xmas :hokay:

My neice and nephew got me hooked on the DVD set. My wife'll even watch it, and she's gone away from most sci-fi.

The humor was an excellent touch in the series, which is why I didn't think much of the movie. It was an excellent step for the series, but personally preferred the series alone.
