No, you didn't miss anything. This is going to be the last Matty 4pack of JLU figures. They've already stopped the rest and clearenced them. This set was already in production before Mattel decided to cancel the 4pack Matty figures. They're supposed to be for sale on Feb. 15th from what I heard.

I always wondered what issues they had around using the actual Justice Society characters. I guess it was their way of doing that kind of Multiverse crossover/imaginary story without having to sacrifice the story potential of introducing the actually JSA as the earlier history of the JLU universe.

I don't think kids would have confusion over The Golden Age Flash and Green Lantern. My niece and nephew grasp the legacy aspects of those characters pretty easily (and in fact that is part of their appeal to them. My niece is ecstatic that there is a little girl Flash now in the form of Impulse).
