    Black Lightning or Black Vulcan?

    Who should Mattel make?

    Superfriends...

or would you like to see Tony Isabella finally get the royalties he deserves?

Keeping in mind that Vulcan was a thinly disguised Lightning.

Bonus Question: Should Black Lightning come with a removable afro-wig, like his comic book counterpart?

Black Lightning, without a doubt! I would prefer him in the new costume he's been wearing in Justice League in recent issues.

I think they are equally perfect for this retro line. Both their suits are exciting
and both represent the Mego time period spectacularly.

I had both made custom-wise...and now FALCON isn't
"Mego's black superhero (singular)" (remember that commercial?)....
at least not on my shelf anyway. 8)

                  "Characters like them"?

                  More specific? I'm curious.

I don't know either of these characters but I love black figures and would be very happy to see more of them.

                      BOTH!
I grew up on Superfriends and I'll take all the SF figures they want to make.

Black Lightning has been on my custom "to do" list for years. I have this same comic and he was always a welcome addition to my DC comics collection. It MUST be this incarnation of him and they could do Tobias Whale in a Pengy body as his villain!

I won't speak for The Bat, but can I try to nicely salvage this by saying that Vulcan and Lightning are a bit more obscure characters compared to say Cyborg... who's been a mainstay in the DC comics Titans for two decades now, not to mention Superfriends, Smallville, Animated Teen Titans, Super Powers Action Figure, and a Truckload of Bandai Toys in recent years?

Do you guys think that a Cyborg figure would make a good Mego and perhaps be more commercially viable as a Mattel product?

Which version of Vic would you want to see? As much as a Perez fan as I am, I don't think the "garters" look would work... even if they did cloth to denote the exposed parts of the arms and legs ala Tarzan or Wonder Woman.

Black Lightning, no doubt....Black Vulcan is just a disgrace. BL has one of the more iconic costumes of the 70s IMO. And I think the removable 'fro idea is pretty cool.

And as for Tony Isabella getting the royalties he finally deserves, DC Direct has already done a 70s BL as part of its History of the DC Universe line....
