I was just curious, does anyone know who the ebayer person aquahawxx is??

Its not anything bad but I keep noticing this person bids on almost everything mego and didnt know if it was one of the members or not.Ive seen the name aquahawxx high bidder on lots of things ive looked at and bid on I'd say in the past year or two. Just wondering if anyone had info.

I think he was talked about on the old forum too. I've noticed his bidding for over a year now. Lowball bids on practically every Mego item that has a low starting bid. A bit annoying, yes (kind of the ebay equivalent of throwing everything at the wall and seeing if anything sticks), but at least you know if he is your competition on an item, and you actually put in a realistic bid, you will definitely beat him. :smiley1:

I keep wondering about this person myself. I keep having these nightmares one day we will see AQUAHAWXX'S SUPER AMAZINGING JUMBO MEGO STORE. Everything will be super expensive. $15 for a hand, $30 for a boot, etc. But then again maybe they are just Mego crazy like the rest of us:silly:

His breaking decent buy it nows with stupid bids is especially annoying. If you don't really want the item, don't put in a lame bid and ruin a good BIN for someone who would actually want to buy the item. Annoying for both the seller and a potential buyer. :rolleyes:

Hey,
If you put a reserve on an auction and a BIN, the BIN will stay until the reserve is met. It stops people from destroying BIN, but it does cost more for the seller.

Looks like to me he's just another mego freak like us or maybe just likes buying and selling them anyway I think we need to get the guy in here so maybe we can get some of the stuff he's got before ebay lol. It's just me, but I am a bit wary of this guy. His negs are very hateful. Calling people lairs consistantly makes me steer clear of a seller. If he doesn't wanna join maybe that's ok.
Then again, I don't know much about 'mego-as-a-business' vs. 'mego-as-a-hobby'. I sell on eBay, but so far just comics and DVDs. Now I don't have time to read comics or watch DVDs. He seems like he doesn't have much time for the 'as-a-hobby' part.
