I was thinking the same thing, is it possible to buy a cable and just hook your laptop to the tv?, does something like that exist?

"B" movies are cool. I just started watching the Chiller Drive-In hosted by Wolfman Mac on RTV/RTN (retro-tv network).
Pretty nice selection of other retro programming on there as well all week long.

Here's a link to one of my favorite sites. Anyone else watch Creature Double Feature back in the 70's and 80's? How many watched it at their Grandmother's house? WITH their grandmother?

That's what I do actually. We bought our lap top and big screen at the same time with the purpose of doing just that.

Anyway the only way I know of to do it is to buy an HDMI cable and run it from your lap top to your tv but they must be HDMI compatable.

Then antything from the laptop will be seen on the tv.Good luck it really is awesome.

I must be doing something wrong when I click on a movie it just shows the trailer from youtube!?!?!?

The movies from the list? Yeah, that just shows the trailer, you can't see the full movie from the site. Although, I see your point. They should probably name those links "watch trailer", rather than "watch". That does lead you to believe that you will see the entire movie.

But the site I posted had free movies! Not trailers, not photos, MOVIES! Sci-Fi, Horror, Western and Kung Fu and now it's all GONE!!

Ah... I did not know that. That's probably why it is down. I would imagine someone who had rights to one of the flicks caught wind of that and sent a cease and desist warning.

Well, there were movies on that site I had never even heard of, and I wanted to see, but I don't want them recorded only to find out I don't like them. A few movies on that site I really didn't care for, and stopped the movie before it ended.

Off the top of my head, one I can think of that wasn't on that site I've wanted to see for years is Invasion Of The Saucer Men. Do you have that one?

I just might. Let me check. I don't have a ton of Sci-Fi. But I have a lot of horror. Most of the old Hammer Dracula flicks and some very obscure titles as well. What genre do you like the most Sci-Fi/Horror - Vampire/Werewolf/Zombie/Creature ?

Did you ever see Creature From Black Lake? That's a classic

Nope, haven't seen that one. I mostly like horror movies from the 50s w/ creatures, mutants, anything that makes the people scream and run for their lives! I also really like William Castle movies: Homicidal, 13 Ghosts, The Tingler, stuff like that. I also like those cheesy sci-fi alien movies from the 50s too.
