The new Higglytown Hero sets all have background artwork I did for the show. Pretty exciting for me, I think I'll have to get them. Eubie's is my favorite...If I'da known they'd be used on packaging I'd have done a better job! :wink_y:

That is awesome Scott! My kid watches Higglytown Heroes. I've been on the lookout for little Mego sneaks you may have put in!
About time they put out some merchandise too!

Thanks! There are a few Mego touches, not many. There's a Mego logo in the window of the grocery store and a batcopter in the toy factory office. I'm alos responsible for the many background appearances of the jar of pickles. woo-hoo.
They've used all the trees and bushes on other packages before, but the new boxes have full bg paintings of the greenhouse and sports stadium and Kip's house. It was nice that Disney finally sent us a box of toys, though we each only got one.

Wow thats really cool.I need to see the layout now
Not surprisingly, those look gorgeous. Scott, you are an amazing painter and illustrator. I've been a fan or your work for... what… it's been 10 years!? Holy cow!
If you get the opportunity, I'd love it if you could post links to larger artwork and/or packaging photos. I'd like to see the illustrations in more detail.
Congratulations!

I didn't think I'd want them myself but having seen them I think I do. Plus when my future kid gets old enough he'll probably think it's neat. So I feel like I need one in the box and one to play with later (of course). My wife thought that was a bit much, and I told her she'd change her mind if they ever made toys with her work on it...

Scott, did you think to add some lead to your paintings so Fisher Price wouldn't have to add it in later?
That is so cool -- I have probably every episode of that show --- twice. I guess being an artist for the show ---> Makes YOU a Higgleytown Hero!!!!

Before you made a post many months ago about how you put hidden Mego symbols in the background, I remember thinking, "Man, that looks like the Mego logo!" when ever it would pop up on the screen.
Its cool that your artwork is on these toys!!!
