Batman knock off [Archive]

hi all,

does any one have any info on this batman knock off ? see pic

figure is about 10 inches high ,arms and legs move head turns.

The body is blow moulded, The head is good sclupt, far better quality the the body.

No makers mark on the body.

oh...how do you put images on the actual post (instead of having to open the attachment),thanks

There's also a Robin, Superman and Spiderman in this series. I don't think there's much info on these.

The only thing I know about them is they were sold on a Super Powers backer card. The head looks a bit like the 12" Mego Bat head, that was forced to fit into a smaller neck hole!!

The weird part is the lower part of the head looks like the Gabriel Lone Ranger figure. This particular BATMAN Knock off has been around for a very long time even before the Super Power toy line. There are many versions including a late 70s version where the chest sticker says Batman in a Bat logo. The earleir version are molded in blue and red plastic.
My favorites are the 7.5in figures very AHi like to me. There is a website I think called The Island of Knock Off Toys that has several examples of these figure MIP

Seen similar in dollar stores.Chinese made,only molded in blue.Also Supes,spidey and robin.

The Batman figure actuallly came carded with a BATMOBILE !!

i still have the card/bubble/batmobile.
