    travel plans set?

I have it EASY since I am a 2 hour car drive away. I just talked to my friend in Wheeling and confirmed my annual visit (free lodging and beer).

I just semi organized my mego and related items to sell/trade.

I even made a list of what I need to find tis year:

    One Robin glove

Alright Brue if you don't finish your list you are by far the worst Mego hunter there is. I may bring the glove off my Robin just to make sure you get it done. See ya there.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I wish I could go this year. But since I got fired I don't think it'll happen. I can't even afford my rent! I will try to get some funds to go, but it's not looking good. I've had to start selling my collection to pay rent. SUCKS!!

            See you all there...

There's also a fair hotel down the road a bit that's cheaper. It's close to the border with Ohio. I think it's called american host. Stayed there last time and was good just 5 miles away. My list is a bit longer. Dr and Robert should take most of my Christmas money. Big thing is Chris Reeve Superman. Anybody want to sell him bring him for the ride. Also need shazam suit, batman glove, belt and cape. Hope to see you all there. I'll be the one with the one year old and wife.
Wanted:- 12" Robin Shoes; Mego Batcave, Mego Die-cast Batman-loose, Mattel-BSG Gold Cylon loose.

Brue, the year I make it to MegoMeet is the year I am going to severely hassle you to appear in your Flash suit. That is the best Flash custom I have ever seen!

I hope to make it but the start to this year ($3K in car repairs) has put all major events in doubt. Luckily this is still some time away so I still have chance.

This year I promised my family that we could go to Hershey PA on the way,
then continue onto the Meet. For us New Yorkers, Hershey Park is right
about the halfway mark 4 hours into the trip.

I typically don't make my reservations until Paul or Chris says the Super 8 has our block of rooms on hold and things are set. Hopefully I can find a job by then and can be there. It's so worth the 14 hour drive.

Already have a positive update. I've worked out a favorable payment schedule for the money I borrowed from my folks (the 3K in car repairs refrenced in my earlier post) so it looks I'll be there. Which is awesome. Didn;t want MM to become a bi-annual event for me. Too much fun.

I live 10 minutes away from Hersheypark. We get season passes every year and go there at least once a week after work just to jump in the wave pool and walk around and eat supper. I gotta have ribs and taters from the BBQ next to the Trail Blazer rollercoaster at least once a week. The have a cool setup at Halloween and Christmas too.
